Meet the Cast of
Brian and Benn's MP3 Movie Talk Show!

Brian G. Felts
Brian is one of the founding members of Brian and Benn's Movie Corner and its MP3 weekly talk show. He has numerous credits in stage and screen. Originally from Pasadena, Texas, and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, Brian made his podcasting debut with Benn on May 2, 2006, with the premier of Brian and Benn's MP3 Movie Talk Show.

While Brian has been a fan of movies all of his life, he didn't get into the arts until the mid 20's. Brian played sports most of his childhood. Even in a fifth grade "play," he was a baseball coach. After high school, Brian attended the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colo. and studied civil engineering. With an illness, he left Mines and resumed studies at Pikes peak Communtiy College. There, he was cast in a PPCC Masquers production of Moliere's "The Miser." Over the next 10 years, he worked on stage or back stage of almost 15 productions.

While working in theatre, Brian met Benn Farrell, took a liking to his quirky ways and wanted to help produce his movies, and be in them if possible. After a 10-year friendship, Brian looks forward to the continued success of their weekly podcast. Some of Brian's other stage credits include "Da" with the Masquers at PPCC in Colorado Springs, "Inherit the Wind" with the Star Bar Players, "She Stoops to Conquer" with Theatreworks and "The Trip to Bountiful," "Prelude to a Kiss" and "The Elephant Man" with the Upstart Performing Ensemble.

In addition, Brian has appeared in several of DockRat Entertainment's video motion pictures including "Na Fen Liom" and "Between Friends." Behind the scenes, the Texas native has served as a production stage manager for several stage works. He also holds an associates degree in general studies, with an emphasis on political science and theatre, as well as a bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs.

"Schindler's List," "Patton" and "The Naked Gun" are among some of Brian's favorite films, while his least favorite include "Farenheit 9-11" and "The Pillow Book." He feels, if BBMC was made into a biopic, Jack Black would be cast in his role. For more information on Brian, check out Brian's Official MySpace.

Benn Farrell
Benn is also a founding member of BBMC and its MP3 weekly web show. He has produced a handful of video motion pictures and written several stageplays. His favorite moment in front of an audience was the final performance of his play '24 Hours and Something Original,' where the show's cast invited him on stage to say a few closing words.

"It was a very special night for many reasons," he said. "That was the cast's best performance. A nearly packed house filled with people who were very responsive. I was glowing, I'm sure."

Benn said he enjoys podcasting because of its expression and the online community it has created among other podcasters. He feels Brian and Benn's MP3 Movie Talk Show strives to speak to guys like him, who are tired of spending nearly $10 a shot on movies that simply aren't worth it.

If the BBMC MP3 show was made into a biopic, Benn feels Will Sasso of TV's 'Mad Tv' would play his part. His favorite movie is 'Schindler's List,' while his least favorite is 'Titanic,' If his life was made into a biopic, he thinks it would be a mockumentary. He would like to work with Mike Nichols one day.

"Podcasting is one place where ANYONE can be a producer, which is awesome," Benn said. "However, only the decent shows that stick around. We've been around a lot longer than most shows at our level, and I think it's cause we're delivering a high quality product." You can learn more about Benn, by visiting Benn's Official MySpace.

Kiersten the News Lady
Kiersten is hailed as one of greatest additions to Brian and Benn's MP3 Movie Talk Show, at least by its hosts. She made her debut with the show on April 10, 2006. She's has a background in journalism, radio and some theatre. Kiersten said she enjoys podcasting for its creative license.

"Because I'm a journalist 40 other hours of the week, I don't get the chance to editorialize. And I LIKE to," she said. "If everyone listened to me, we could solve the world's problems. And I get to curse, even though it's bleeped out later by an EDITOR. Ugh."

Kiersten's greatest moment in front of an audience came during a high school production of 'Dracula,' where she managed to scream on stage after not being allowed to as a child unless she was bleeding heavily or had broken bones. She feels the MP3 show's greatest strength is its relationship to its listeners.

"We're real people with real lives that other people who want to see movies can relate to," Kiersten said. "And we're funny and irreverent."

Some of the news lady's favorite movies include 'Ladyhawke,' 'Raise the Red Lantern' and the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy. She dislikes anything with Jean Claude Van Damme and a complete lack of common sense like 'Dumb and Dumber.' If her life was made into a biopic, she expects it would be part satire and part documentary.

Joan Gandy
Joan made her debut with Brian and Benn's MP3 Movie Talk Show on its special two-part Halloween show in October 2005. Since then, she has stake a monthly claim as a special guest commentator in her monthly feature Gandy Rant. On occasion, Joan appears 'in studio' to give extra insight on certain releases and serves as a guest moderator.

Her total experience in performing arts consists of a role as a who in Whoville in a seventh-grade play, as well as a brief appearance on TV's Comedy Central as a puppet on the show 'Crank Yankers.'

"My love of all action movies, good and bad, helps me balance Brian and Benn's hatred of letting go of disbelief even for a moment," Joan said.

Joan feel is she were a member of the X-Men, her special power would be super smarts. She's not sure how that would help win any battles, but at least she'd be useful at the mutant school; however, she's certain she'd be super hot like Halle Berry. If BBMC MP3 was made into a biopic, she feels Reese Witherspoon would play her part since she wouldn't have to fake the southern accent.

"I don't know much about the medium, but I am 100 percent convinced it is the wave of the future," Joan said about podcasting. "Benn and Brian are ahead of the pack."

Joan's favorite moment in front of an audience was when she almost pranked Brian and Kiersten one week on the MP3 show. It was closest she'd ever come to pulling off a practical joke. Her favorite movie is 'When Harry Met Sally,' for personal reasons, while her least favorite is 'Sleepaway Camp,' since it really freaked her out. She would like to meet Tom Hanks one day and thank him for his work.

Joan said, "If my life was a biopic, it would be a musical, because people around me are always breaking out into song."

Chris Michlewicz
Chris joined the cast of Brian and Benn's MP3 Movie Talk Show in November 2005. For the most part, listeners know him as the voice of the show's sponsors and public-service announcements. By day, Chris is a professional journalist who has dabbled in radio. He said he has also appeared stark naked on the Fox Network's Saturday night staple, "COPS."

Chris' general interests include guitar, writing, snowboarding, painting, golfing, poker and competitive drinking where he attempts to beat his own records. He said his favorite moment in front of an audience was on BBMC's MP3 show.

"I think the most amazing thing about podcasting is that people all over the world have the ability to download and listen to crap produced in a bedroom thousands of miles away," Chris said.

Chris feels if he were a part of the X-Men, he would have teleportation powers. If BBMC were made into a biopic, he said his role would be played by "probably some douchebag, like Benn Affleck."

"The show offers a sarcastic, yet witty, insight into today's films and the never-ending list of pampered celebrities who star in them," he said. "No topic is off limits. BBMC touches on everything from Hollywood blockbusters to low-budget films, to hack acting jobs and shining performances. Oh, and who can forget the crude sexual humr that we have all come to know and...tolerate."

Chris' favorite movie is "What Dreams May Come," while his least is "Shakespeare In Love." He would like to work with or meet Tom Hanks and feels if his life was made into a movie, it would be "one of those comedies with the childish fart jokes, big-breasted women and improbable plot lines.

Gabriella aka Gina DiTullio
Also known as performer Gina DiTullio, Gabriella made her debut on July 4, 2006, when Brian tried to get her naked in a special appearance. Since then, she has returned to the show to help Benn give the same challenge to Brian and special guests in the now re-occuring segment.

Gina enjoys podcasting immensely and feels it is much cheaper than radio broadcast. She brings a large amount of sex appeal to the show.

"Brian and Benn rock," she said. "They tell me about movies, so I don't waste my time watching them. It's like having Cliff notes."

Gina has been involved with the performing arts since 1984 where she started acting in commercials and getting work as a runway model. She later studied TV and film acting at Vancouver Film School.

Among her credits, Gina played Janice in Rogue Amazon Entertainment's motion picture 'Camille's Magic,' Sal in the TMD Films' motion picture 'Different Kind,' as well as roles as Gabriella in DockRat Entertainment's 'Na Fen Liom' and as Amanda in DR's 'In the Darkness.' She also appeared in a couple of Canadian-made shorts, 'Sheena' and 'Fifteen Minutes.' Some of Gina's stage credits include roles with Part of One dinner theatre and the female lead in '24 Hours and Something Original,' as well as Mabel in 'The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told,' her favorite character ever.

Many may recognize Gina as one of the cast members of the Rocky Mountain based sketch comedy show 'Loosen Up.' You can learn more about Gina by checking out Gina's Official MySpace.

Jon Baird
Jon made his debut informally with Brian and Benn's MP3 Movie Talk Show on a two-part show posted on July 18, 2006, since then he makes regular appearances 'in studio' to give his own commentary to certain pictures and as a guest moderator for debates between the show's hosts. He also serves as BBMC's resident physical therapist.

"As the official medical team for BBMP3, I'm like Dr. Jack Shephard (Matthew Fox) on 'Lost,'" Jon said. "I hold the whole thing together."

Jon isn't without his own shining moments before an audience. He was once beaten up before a crowd for a play about Robin Hood. It was the pinnacle of his acting career. In addition, he fondly remembers his final jazz band concert his sophomore year at university. Jon enjoys podcasting for its freedom from censorship.

"I can say whatever I want, and then Benn edits it out," he said.

'Braveheart' is one of Jon's favorite films, while 'Deuce' is his least favorite. He would be interested in working with Mel Gibson as long as the director stays sober. If a biopic was made about the BBMC MP3 show, Jon feels Rowan Atkinson would play him. You can learn more about Jon by checking out Jon's Official MySpace.

Chris Lawson
Chris L first appeared on Brian and Benn's MP3 Movie Talk Show in "The DaVinci Podcast," posted May 23, 2006. He joins the hosts on occasion to give his insight to certain releases. He is also called upon for his opinion during the show's near-monthly Top 5 discussions. Chris' acting experience doesn't stretch much further than grade school productions.

"I think the last dramatic performance I was a part of involved alcohol and a bad pick-up line at a bar," he said. "I once dressed up as Willy Wonka in a parade, but I looked like neither Gene Wilder or Johnny Depp, maybe a bit more like Sloth from 'The Goonies.'"

Chris enjoys of all shapes and size but finds a good film revolves around a great story with the right balance of drama, humor and maybe Meg Ryan, he said. If BBMC MP3 was made into a biopic, Chris feels Anthony Michael Hall or Judd Nelson, when he was in 'The Breakfast Club,' would play his role.

"I probably don't add much to the show from a sex appeal standpoint, but dammit, I'm opinionated," Chris said.

By night, Chris L. is a superhero with an uncanny power to see people naked, but by day, he is a professional photographer and photojournalist. You can see some of his work at ChristopherLawson.com.
