Harry Potter andThe Prisoner of Azkaban reviewed by Benn "Where's the Humanity?" Farrell
I really liked "HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban." Being one of those people who give the movie
its due credit, and not one of those who are determined to compare it to the book, I was wrapped
into the picture's storyline and enjoyed the heck out of it.
However, I still feel "HP and the Chamber of Secrets" was my personal favorite of the franchise.
"Azkaban" was more of a startle and what-the-hell mystery, while "Chamber" was more of a breadcrumbs
mystery, a style I enjoy more.
I have acquaintances who continue to say "Azkaban" doesn't even LOOK like a Harry Potter franchise
movie. To that I say, to some degree, you are right. The production and art design shows very
noticeable differences, but the material of the picture is ALL Potter and a solid addition to the
trilogy thusfar. It is for sure the weakest link of the Potter films, I will admit.
However, it is not to be scoffed at. Benn - Where's the Humanity? |
