Is 2006 the year of the must see bad movie? Because we have another horrible movie that needs to be seen to be loved. As Benn would say, any movie that has a tagline that say's "From the makes of Super Troopers…" can't be good. He is right, there is no artistic value to this movie. But it still is fun and if you have ever been a big beer drinker, especially in your 20's, then you can get a kick out of a lot of the jokes.

The premise is very simple, two Americans discover Beerfest, a serious beer drinker's competition that has competitors from around the world, and they decide to make an American team and enter the competition. There is a bunch of other plot outline crap but it's not important.

So, yeah, this movie is bad. But, you don't go see a movie called Beerfest, and expect it to be an Academy Award @reg; winner. You go to this movie to see t*ts and a**, and d*ck and f*art jokes, and there are plenty to see. The movie is somewhat slow in that it tries to stick with some meandering story line when it should have played more to the drinking jokes, but the meandering wasn't painful, I can think of several movies, for instance, A Very Long Engagement, that were much more meandering and painful.

Will this movie make my collection? Yes. Is this a good movie? No. Should you see this movie? If you ever drank a lot of beers at a party and played stupid games, Yes. If you were a home schooled shut in who has no people skills what so ever, then no. You will think the movie is stupid, which it is, but you will have missed the humor of it. Which is too bad, because sometimes it is fun being a stupid, dumb, drunk mother f*cker.
