Benn Farrell Brother Bear

emoticon I hate to admit it, but "Brother Bear" was kind of okay. It wasn't as terribly cheesey as I'd expected, and there weren't a whole lot of songs to annoy me.

The animation was very well researched as far as the movements of bears go, but I think some of the voical talents could have given a better read at times.

I have a growing respect for Disney, allowing children to face such adult themes like the death of a loved one, also included in "Brother Bear."

Vocal talents on this one include Joaquin Phoenix (The Villiage), Jeremy Suarez (TV's Bernie Mac Show), Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas (Strange Brew), DB Sweeney (The Cutting Edge), Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile) and even stand up comic Greg Proops (TV's Who's Line Is It Anyway?) makes a voical appearance.

"Brother Bear" was far from painful to watch, very heart warming and well presented. However, YES, it IS Disney.
