This particular movie--I am sure there will be many documentaries from Hollywood about their political idol President Clinton--talks about the "10 Year Campaign to Destroy the President," created by members of Arkansas's lower class, people who Clinton used to be allies with and "changed" unexpectedly, and of course the Right Wing Republicans and henchman Ken Starr.

While I do not like this blatant kind of favoritism towards one party, "The Hunting of the President" does not go as radical as the Michael Moore "documentaries" and is generally watchable, even for a Republican.

The movie is based on a book, written about all of the attempts to discredit Bill Clinton. His "supposed" affairs with Paula Jones are portrayed as a grand scheme which involves many people at the local and national level to attack the man. They spend about 2 hours explaining all of the incidents which caused people to question his character and write it off as a right wing conspiracy.

However, filmmakers only spend about 10 minutes talking about how he did get caught with Monica Lewinski, which even though would appear to validate other arguments women had against him, the movie goes and writes off the Lewinski scandal as a coincidence. Really?

This movie will be loved by Clinton fans and hated by the people who dislike him. I ask all people keep an open mind about what the movie is talking about. While it is obvious the writers were Clinton supporters, they do raise some questions about his character which is nice to see. I just hope the same writers and author of the original book write another project and make another movie on how Hollywood has tried to destroy George Bush the younger. Somehow, I don't think this will happen
