I was introduced to this colossal piece of crap while home sick with some kind of damn illness. Anyway, this movie stars Mario Ban Peeples as a military cyborg that has "malfunctioned" and is wallowing somewhere in Central America, and the army bad guys are sent to go find him and bring him back.

To me, this movie really exemplifies what was wrong with the "dumb" action movies of the 90's. What made movies like Commando, Rambo, and these classic "dumb" movies so great was that you new that they did not take themselves seriously. (I would like to exclude, First Blood, the first Rambo movie, because it was well written and had a good story, the sequels, well, lets just say, kick those commies ass.) The 1990's action movies are produced to be taken way too seriously.

Anyway, there are no redeeming qualities to this movie. The action is horrible and the bad guys are so over the top stereo typical bad guys that I couldn't even laugh at them. The main bad guy, Col. Frank Madden, was written so over the top that you couldn't imagine a human like this ever existing. Arnold Swarzenegger's Terminator is a more believable character. Who do you cast to play a completely over the top bad military guy, that's right, William Sadler (Die Hard II, Disturbing Behavior.) It's amazing how far he has fallen since he was in The Shawshank Redemption.

Anyway, if you see this on TV, change the channel, if you are thinking about watching this on video, go see the doctor, because you are definitely sick. That's my story and I am sticking to it.
