This is a very bad movie. Not because it is a bout a gay super hero, or because the super hero's name sucks a$$. No, it is bad because the acting is bad, the writing is bad, the story is lame and the special effects sucked. Overall, this movie is barely a step above a high school film class and shockingly poor considering the amount of money that had to go into making this film.

This very bad story is about everyone's gay all-American lawyer and avid comic book reader Gavin, played by writer Vincent Roth, who is zapped by an explosion giving him really lame super powers and a penchant for bad sausage jokes. Eventually he beats the bad guy, gets the gay guy, and laughs at his boss in the end.

Why is there bad acting you may ask, well besides the obvious that they suck, I would be shocked if all of these people combined had six months of acting training. I am guessing that in order to keep all of the money in the so-called special effects (which weren't) Vincent had all of his friends act in the movie. However, he didn't have enough so the same fat guy had to run around in at least 4 different walk on parts that I noticed between the shots of heroin I was doing hoping I would OD before the movie was over. No such luck as I watched this movie for every painful second.

I guess my real question is why Lou Ferrigno (TV's Hulk) and Nichelle Nichols (Star Trek) would allow themselves to be a part of this movie, no matter what the price, it is awful and unexplainable.

I am sure there are tons of messages Roth thinks he is showing in this movie, but the writing is so bad that I just basically ignore everything he says. Maybe it's the gay sex joke in almost every scene that eventually turns me off. Too much of ANY kind of innuendo is never good. I will say that the fact that almost all of the character in the movie were gay and that life was normal, was about the only thing that didn't suck about the story. I guess I am saying is that you knew they were all gay even though they didn't mention that they were at any time in the movie. The fact that they were gay had nothing to do with the story. But the comic books, super hero thing, was the emphasis of the story, which again is why the movie sucked….besides the acting I mean.

I would tell you to skip this movie, but to be honest, I can't see this being on the shelf of any video store. The only way someone has it, is if they were in it. I don't know how we got it but, I have already used it for some long distance DVD tossing on to nearby I-25. But if you do see it, spend the .99$ that it will cost to take off the shelf and try some DVD tossing on your own, the disk flies really far.
